Is your expansion vessel leaking?
August 6, 2013, 11:03 am
As with any plumbing or boiler fault, if you discover that your expansion vessel is leaking it is best to get the problem fixed as soon as possible to avoid causing further damage to your hot water system.
We have just carried out work at the University of East Anglia (UEA) to replace a leaking expansion vessel. Likely caused through the use of cheap parts, the vessel had been leaking for a while and could have caused further damage to the pressure release valve if not attended to.
No matter how small the problem we recommend you arrange a call out from one of our engineers by calling 01603 423479. Getting the problem fixed early could save you from a much larger bill further down the line.
